Gaining Momentum
by Aaron Leung on Feb.14, 2009, under Whip it on Mastermind Group (Sydney)
What an INCREDIBLE night! Last night on a dark and rainy Friday the 13th, we had our biggest turnout so far for the Whip it on mastermind group. For those who don’t know what the group is, it’s a group of Sydney people started from the Anthony Robbins Melbourne Wealth Mastery event held back in Nov 2008. The aim of the group is to provide morale support for each other, sharing ideas, helping each other and keeping the momentum going.
We had 19 people turn up last night for the event and it FRICKEN ROCKED lols. Had the dancing, clapping, music going and all at a small office in Crows Nest. We covered what people had done since the last meeting, if they completed the goals or not, keeping each other accountable as well as setting new goals for the next fortnight.
We covered topics with ebay, internet marketing, equities trading, real estate, and other business ideas. They normally finish at 9:30pm wish cashflow afterwards, we were having so much fun we didn’t finish until 11:30pm lols.
Members shared their experience with ebay, personally and without Adam Ginsberg’s system. Tho it had good material for beginners, a lot didn’t feel the system was worth what it was sold for. Suggestions came up sourcing products from China and even finding an assistant in china who can negotiate for better pricing.
Internet marketing was touched upon with a couple of members creating their own web site, having the copy writing checked.
Equities trading was spoken about, some had the misfortune of being effected by the recent economic climate. Some of the mistakes learnt was not to be greedy by over commiting to trades and positions, having a system that enters in profit targets and stop losses at the time when a signal has been confirmed and an order submitted. JB Global seems to be popular as a self managed super fund opportunity.
Real Estate is still very popular as a number of atendees are searching for properties. Dymphna’s course was also mentioned. The feedback was a lot of the materials from the course seems to have been covered at the 1 day seminar that held recently. The main course that was sold at wealth mastery has been scheduled in March. A couple of members are going in with mixed feelings as customer service hasn’t been up to standard.
Business opportunities were discussed by a number of members, from researching into vending machines, to being creative with real estate property, and selling a business.
Financing options were also discussed near the end of the meeting for someone who needed help with their situation. It was good to hear them from an unbiased view and the pros and cons for the options.
We skipped cashflow last night due to the time constraint with the number of people sharing their expereiences and bouncing ideas off one another.
We also gave time to 2 people who needed specific help with debt reduction. We had a person from a finance company too to help out who could provide 3.99% finance loans. He was our special guest and enjoyed it a lot. He’s sure to come back lols.
Definitely something everyone got a lot of value from. If you’re interested in joining the group, send an email to greatermindset@gmail.com regarding this.
Next meeting is scheduled to be in the 27th Feb 09 at:
The Wealth Creation Centre
Level 2, 24 Falcon St
Crows Nest NSW
See you all there
Cheers,
Aaron Leung
